This💭 🤔 of a piece of writing it's like a story not really my life but on Instagram the prompt was write that you're waiting without using the word waiting it could be a 📚 or passage, It's incomplete.

I stared through the window until the sun went down, until the moon rose, until the décor in the living room changed and the neighbours left, until dad remarried and Britney left, but you never reappeared at the doorstep, never parked in the car park. I wore my graduation gown, sash and hat, still staring through the window. No sign of you. Memories rose, taking the shape you should have filled. Months and weather changed. I sat with my wife and kids. You still never came back. I don’t know if I’ll heal. Now I sit with a cane, grey hair, a worn-out smile, still staring through the window.
