Who Am I To Judge
<p>Who am I to judge when I don’t always get things right myself? </p><p>I’ve messed up. </p><p>I’ve hurt people without meaning to. </p><p>I’ve said things I wish I could take back. </p><p>I’ve stayed quiet when I should’ve spoken. </p><p>And I’ve spoken too fast when I should’ve paused.</p><p><br/></p><p>There are moments I still replay in my head, wondering why I acted the way I did. </p><p>I’ve broken promises, some to others, </p><p>some to myself. </p><p>I’ve let pride win. </p><p>I’ve let fear speak. </p><p>I’ve been wrong, even when I thought I was right.</p><p><br/></p><p>So who am I to look at someone else </p><p>and ask, "Why would they do that?” when I have done the same.</p><p>I’ve made choices from pain, not logic. </p><p>I’ve loved in ways that didn’t make sense. </p><p>I’ve hidden parts of myself </p><p>because I was scared to be seen.</p><p><br/></p><p>That’s why I try not to judge anymore. </p><p>Not because I’m better now, </p><p>but because I know how it feels </p><p>to just need a little understanding.</p><p><br/></p><p>So no, I won’t pretend I’m perfect. </p><p>I’ll be honest. </p><p>I’ll be kind. </p><p>Because we’re all trying. </p><p>Some of us are just better at hiding the mess.</p>
