Unbecoming
<p><br/></p><p>Dissolving……..<br/></p><p>Tired of crying.</p><p>I can’t say depressed.</p><p>(But why?)</p><p>I don’t know.</p><p>I’m just watching the ink run until I’m gone.</p><p>Something just snapped in me…….</p><p>A silent scream.</p><p>Not heartbreak.</p><p>Something deeper…….</p><p>(Is it the silence?)</p><p>Maybe. Fifteen hours of it.</p><p>Zoning out into the white space.</p><p>Trapped where the ink meets the skin.</p><p>(Why are you so sad today?)</p><p>I’m just tired of hiding the stain.</p><p>I’ve tried to wash it off,</p><p>But the blackness has already reached my eyes.</p><p>I want to sleep.</p><p>Dissolve into the page.</p><p>And hope the pieces find their way back by morning…….</p><p><br/></p>
