The One My Soul Attracts Is Him
<p>He knows exactly what to say to calm my drenched soul.</p><p>He looks at me straight in the eyes like the metaphor between me and him is right in the lens of my breath taking eyelids.</p><p>He'll let me rant all day long, place his ears in my palm just so I could yap about my past present and future.</p><p><br/></p><p>He tells me of how much of an amazing person I am. </p><p>I'm the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to him, he will say. </p><p>My confidence rises like the waves of the sea around him.</p><p>He tells me my dreams are so big and I'm bigger.</p><p>How could I not spend the rest of my life with him?.</p><p><br/></p><p>He makes my heart beat faster. The kind of anxiety that turns to humour . </p><p>His eyes are like the stars.</p><p>And all his life he's been moving with scars until he found me. </p><p>He said I'm his solace, my soul sank in savour.</p><p><br/></p><p>"He's just a friend " that's what I'll always tell the girls.</p><p>But damn, I dream of us walking down the aisle. Holding my hands and staring at me in awe.</p><p>I want this one to see my parents.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can't afford for another hands to push my baby's trolley from the hospital.</p><p>I want this one to nurture my body 😌!!</p><p>I want this one to drink the tea from my cup and be filled.</p><p>I want this one to wake up beside me. </p><p>I want his breath to be the first I smell.</p><p>He's the man I want. </p><p>The one for my dreams.</p><p>The one that completes me.</p><p>He is the place where I don't feel all alone.</p><p><br/></p><p>Who would buckle the lace of my shoe, when my dress is too pretty to stress?</p><p>Who would I explore my love for dramatic food too?</p><p>Who do I buy the Gucci shoes for?</p><p>Who do I write poems of love letters to?.</p><p> I've planned to leave love letters in his food pack and his car.</p><p>In-between his Bible. </p><p>Under his gadgets. One in the pockets of all his suits and jackets.</p><p>Who would pick me up, spin me and wrap me around their arms like the roses wrap around to form a curve 🪝</p><p>Who do I express my crazy side to? </p><p>How do I tell him that I'm the most dramatic girl on earth?.</p><p><br/></p><p>My shaylaaa.......I'm never letting this one go. It will be selfish to keep all this love stocked within me. Let him taste me a little PLENTY.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
