Nigerian youths are two-sided
I study a lot and love to think out of the box and at the same time inside the box. I tend to figure out that the same youth who want change forget so quickly and easily why they need change. In all recommendations, the old legs are more competent enough to rule the nation than the undefined youth. I was fortunate enough to stumble on a post on Twitter and I got so ashamed and embarrassed with how the majority of youths handled the topic. Our present youth are wasteful even a thousand times more than the wasteful set of politicians and governors ruling the beloved country. How on earth can an artist purchase a jacket at the rate of 1.6 million Naira when converted from dollars? The so-called leaders of tomorrow and <i>soro soke </i> generational youth were agitated with this act and supported it with their full chest. Condemning this act few succumbed, but the remaining 98% were so into me that I could have been lynched if I was in their midst, even with the glaring fact they acted so blind and they came against me in their thousands. This leaves me to the fact that our Nigerian youth are not ready to rule, it would be a big mess and mistake to hand over the baton to a Nigerian youth irrespective of how qualified he is, it would for sure leave us in shambles. I am not in support of oldies on that presidential seat but formidable adults between the range of 55-65 years. When I talk about two-sidedness, I am talking about the same youth taking charge in ending corrupt practices in the nation especially the <i>endsars</i> charge. But I see youth who are not definite and don't know what they want, how can the youth praise a celebrity for lavishing money on just a jacket and the same youth condemn and raise the corruption flag when a politician lavishes money to buy exotic cars luxurious things This huge amount of money can help eradicate/minimize employment if that money is put into a viable niche/sector. Let us begin to learn from other celebrities. Nigeria can be a great nation again if it has ever been, but some youthful narrative could be changed so this country can be better again. Let's be the change, the change needs us.
