It was a Thursday evening. A day before the end of the work week. I was much too excited for that.

My husband was away on a business trip and my kids were with the babysitter.

I was on my way home from work, would've been home earlier but I couldn't evade the traffic.

I got a call from my eldest through the babysitter. She wanted some materials from the store for her school project on Friday.

I was about to get mad but she explained that it was a last minute project.

After the call ended, I took a left turn and headed towards the store.

I was very tired and in a hurry. That wasn't the discouraging part. I searched every aisle in the store for the last item, starch. What do they need starch for?!.

I massaged my wrinkled forehead that resulted from a frown. I took a deep breath and stared at the list the babysitter sent via SMS.

I looked around to see if there was anyone I could ask. That's when I saw the man in the corner in black hoodie, shades, and black trousers.

I looked away to avoid making eye contact but when I turned back to look, he wasn't there.

I made several more stops on different aisles and I kid you not, the man was there, on every aisle, in the corner, staring.

I was agitated and couldn't find the item fast enough, so I grabbed something that looked like it and I was on my way to pay.

He scanned the items slowly and tried to make small talk. When he noticed that I kept looking back and giving the same cold, one-word reply, he asked if I was okay.

I told him what I saw and how it made me uncomfortable. I also rudely emphasized how they needed to have better security.

The manager was summoned eventually and to prove I was right, I asked him to go with me to first aisle to see the man.

They checked every aisle while I waited in the open. They told me they found no one.

I pleaded that they checked the security footage and they did.

To my surprise, there was no one.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
