THE LAST VOICE IN ROOM 17
<p>šCHAPTER TWO: <strong>Footsteps in the Silence</strong></p><p><em>Laurina didnāt remember deciding to move.</em></p><p><em>One second she was frozen.</em></p><p><em>The next, she was sprinting across the room and yanking the door open.</em></p><p><em>The hallway outside was empty.</em></p><p><em>Too empty.</em></p><p><em>The fluorescent lights flickered overhead with a faint buzzing sound. Lockers lined the walls like silent watchers.</em></p><p><em>Her phone buzzed again.</em></p><p><strong>* Youāre curious. Thatās good.</strong></p><p><em>Her throat went dry.</em></p><p><strong>* What do you want?</strong></p><p><em>Three dots appearedā¦ disappearedā¦ appeared again.</em></p><p><strong>* Go back inside. You missed something.</strong></p><p><em>Laurina should have left.</em></p><p><em>Every instinct screamed at her to run straight out of the building and never come back.</em></p><p><em>But curiosityādangerous, stubborn curiosityāpulled her feet backward into Room 17.</em></p><p><em>The air felt colder now.</em></p><p><em>She scanned the room slowly.</em></p><p><em>Books. Boxes. Broken chairs.</em></p><p><em>Nothing unusual.</em></p><p><em>Until she noticed the "<strong>mirror"</strong></em></p><p><em>It leaned against the far wall, half-covered by a dusty cloth. She was certain it hadnāt caught her attention earlier.</em></p><p><em>Heart thudding, she stepped closer.</em></p><p><em>Her reflection stared backāwide eyes, tense shoulders.</em></p><p><em>Normal.</em></p><p><em>Too normal.</em></p><p><em>Her phone buzzed again.</em></p><p><strong>* Look closer.</strong></p><p><em>Laurina leaned toward the mirror.</em></p><p><em>For a secondā¦ nothing.</em></p><p><em>Then her breath hitched.</em></p><p><em>Because her reflectionā</em></p><p><em><strong>Wasnāt moving.</strong></em></p><p><em>Laurina blinked.</em></p><p><em>Her reflection blinked a second later.</em></p><p><em>A cold wave of terror crashed through her chest.</em></p><p><em>She stumbled backward.</em></p><p><em>The phone buzzed violently in her hand.</em></p><p><em><strong>* Now you see it.</strong></em></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>I Think I'm out of words now......š</p><p>Should I continue ....š¤</p>
