Nothing at all.</p><p>A fleeting indulgence, a passing sin.</p><p>He is bound to another, as am I—</p><p>A man, yes, a man in my life.</p><p><br></p><p>Yet his touch lingers like an echo,</p><p>His slender fingers tracing memories into my skin.</p><p><br></p><p>Tonight, we dance the same reckless waltz,</p><p>But the air is different, tainted.</p><p>Unfamiliar eyes, unwelcome shadows,</p><p>And I wonder—will he hold me at all?</p><p><br></p><p>The other .</p><p>Is she the one?</p><p>The keeper of his heart, the true beloved?</p><p><br></p><p>I, in my brazen honesty,</p><p>Laid my thoughts at her feet, shameless,</p><p>Called him a shared possession, a borrowed thrill—</p><p>"My turn," I had dared to say.</p><p><br></p><p>But no, he is not ours.</p><p>Not even mine.</p><p><br></p><p>And yet… do they taste the same kisses?</p><p>Do his hands wander their bodies as they do mine?</p><p>A thought to torment, but not to claim me—</p><p>For jealousy is a stranger in my soul.</p><p><br></p><p>He loves another, and so do I.</p><p>Ah, my other—darkness incarnate,</p><p>The devil himself.</p><p><br></p><p>So then, is this a betrayal of him?</p><p>A blasphemous defiance of my fate?</p><p><br></p><p>No. He knows.</p><p>He always knows.</p><p>Yet fear does not touch me, for my place is sealed.</p><p>I will be the only one.</p><p>The one true bride.</p><p>The Devil’s very own bride.</p><p><br></p>
