It still echoes in your heart as if it just happened.

You are still tied down in the bondage of your past. You are not stable at your workplace or your class because it keeps echoing back. It keeps coming back to your memory... You have become the shadow of yourself.

You hate yourself because of what you have done. You have become the other version of yourself. You couldn't believe what your hands have done in the past.

You dress well in public, but you carry the scar around. You cry yourself to sleep in the night. You just hate yourself for what you did. You punish yourself for what you have done in the past.

Brethren...

The only way to break free from this is to go back to the cross. Go back to your Maker, ask Him for forgiveness, and rededicate your life to Him afresh.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Inasmuch as you have found your way to the cross and rededicated your life to Him, you have become a new being in Christ. Be full of His word and guide your heart with all diligence because out of it flow the issues of life.

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
