<p>It's Valentine's eve.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>I hate you but I love you.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>I stand over you with arms raised.</p><p><br/></p><p>My hands don't tremble.</p><p><br/></p><p>There is a smile on my face, the same you hate.</p><p><br/></p><p>I take a step back.</p><p><br/></p><p>You smile.</p><p><br/></p><p>My heart bleeds.</p><p><br/></p><p>"If I can't have you, no one else can," I mumble.</p><p><br/></p><p>I remember the first hangout, to me it was a date.</p><p><br/></p><p>But fate turned it to hate.</p><p><br/></p><p>If I weren't me, would you love me?</p><p><br/></p><p>We should stay friends, you say.</p><p><br/></p><p>But can't you see I want something more?</p><p><br/></p><p>Can't you see how I search for you in the crowd?</p><p><br/></p><p>Can't you see how I hum your name?</p><p><br/></p><p>You bought her flowers, and asked me to choose.</p><p><br/></p><p>I smile, the world pauses.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now I stare at a picture of you.</p><p><br/></p><p>My mind is made.</p><p><br/></p><p>Say something before I give up on you.</p><p><br/></p><p>I stare at the mirror, a warm liquid gushes out of my cheeks.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your favourite colour—the colour of the rose you got her.</p><p><br/></p><p>“I love you” you say…</p><p><br/></p><p>"<strong>Je t'aime</strong>" I whisper back.</p><p><br/></p><p>I'll save you.</p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>I'll fight demons to stay with you.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>I'll fight her, I'll fight me.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>If I told you I loved you, would you believe me?</p><p><br/></p><p>I walk closer to you, my red dress flowing freely…</p><p><br/></p><p>How do I love again?</p><p><br/></p><p>Te quiero con todo mi corazón.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Mi corazón</strong>... it's too late.</p>
