Sunday Twists S2E4_unravelled _( When Life doesn't make sense: The Christian's struggles.)

Oh My God💔😭 I can't believe I slept off while typing this yesterday😂🙆♂️

A big shoutout to all Twocents famz.....your encouragement has really helped in the continuation of this series😚.......

It's time to unravel last week's twist....

A lot of whys were asked but to the best of my knowledge and the research I made, a fine deal of justice will be done to it....

Last week's episode really left us pondering as we wondered about the woes many Christians pass through that makes it look like as if the Christian journey doesn't make sense because.....most times IT ALWAYS SEEM AS IF GOD IS SILENT 👀...

WHY.....🤷♂️??

NB: The points stated here might not resonate with some people as it might not include other reasons.

Firstly, as regards many Christians going through financial strains despite their faithful way of life, there is one thing that hinder majority of them, having a mentality of expecting GOD to just bless them without doing anything; I mean, if they keep praying "God bless the work of my hands" and they're idle, which work does God want to bless???😒...James 2:26* - "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." (KJV). This is something those we call unbelievers do that earn them riches, yes they don't know GOD, but they worked and earned rewards, it's that simple.....

Another thing is the law of giving, Proverbs 11:24-25 - "One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." (NIV). GBAM!🤷♂️, That's it. It's a law of nature that the Bible only affirms, What you give out will not only come back to you but in multiple folds, Life is a journey in a circle. THAT'S KARMA! Again, many of these people that we call unbelievers know this thing and they're thriving in it. Another wrong mentality is giving for investment and not giving for generosity, this kind of mentality is what many take to church and give offerings with, but they forgot one thing...GOD CAN DECIDE NOT TO REPAY THE PERSON WITH MONEY!! and this will leave them frustrated, still in their hardship. Hmmm....The law of giving...Luke 6:38* - "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (NIV). THAT'S IT.

As regards the killings and misfortunes that happens to Christians and we say "Where was God?" Well..He was in heaven 👀. I'll be citing two things to address this as GOD grants me utterance and gives you a good understanding..... ● Jesus has told us this thing beforehand, John 15:20* - "Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also." (NIV). The Bible has said we would be persecuted for Christ's sake, so yes... GOD will not want to disrupt the fulfilment of scripture knowing fully well that this person is ending up in heaven. So, these hardship and killings is a persecution because - "In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." 2 Timothy 3:12 (NIV)

Also, Romans 13:1 (NIV) says: "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God." This means every government is established by God and they're empowered by God to look after us. So the first people to question are the government, not GOD. Though this does not excuse that God cannot save, because Psalm 91:10-11, says:"No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways......" (NKJV).

Finally, when we don't know the reason behind some painful situations we go through and we sit to think about them, if we certainly can't tell the reason why God allowed them, we can tell what can't be the reason. For example, the Christian genocide in Nigeria; We might not fully know the reason God is allowing it but we know it is not out of hate, or lack of ability to save- that can't be the reason. So if we can identify this, it will be easy to trust in Him because.."....those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." (NKJV) Isaiah 40:31.

That'll be all for now😌..

If there are additions you want to add, please feel free😊...

Till the next episode....

PEACE✌

Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
