S1Ep1: The Trojan Horse
<p>[Haiku]</p><p><br/></p><p>Inside wooden walls,</p><p>A king holds a sleeping life —</p><p>The gods are watching.</p><p><br/></p><p>---</p><p>One small life, a curse foretold,</p><p>a mercy given, a hand too bold.</p><p>The gods will watch, the tides will turn —</p><p>but not a soul here knows yet,</p><p><br/></p><p>the cost.</p><p><br/></p><p>---</p><p><br/></p><p>---</p><p><br/></p><p>Yuuuuuup. That's me.</p><p><br/></p><p>You're probably wondering how I ended up fighting a god. Not just any god — the god of the ocean. Poseidon. Yeah, that one. Trident. Tempers. Very, very scary.</p><p><br/></p><p>But let's start at the beginning. Before the oceans wanted me dead. Before the monsters, the witches, the whispers in the dark. Before I became... well. You'll see.</p><p><br/></p><p>It started with a horse.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not a real one, obviously. That would be ridiculous. No, this was a wooden horse. Giant. Hollow. Full of soldiers. Me included.</p><p><br/></p><p>We'd been fighting the Trojans for ten years. Ten. Years. I just wanted to go home. I had a wife. A newborn son. A kingdom waiting. But the war wasn't over — until I came up with a little idea.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Alright, my brothers, listen closely —"</p><p><br/></p><p>Troy fell. We won. I should have been happy.</p><p><br/></p><p>But the prophet showed me something that night. An infant — the son of the Trojan prince. A prophecy hung over that child like a blade. If he lived, he'd rebuild Troy. He'd come for us. For everything we'd built.</p><p><br/></p><p>Zeus spoke. You know how gods are — they don't ask. They tell.</p><p><br/></p><p>And suddenly, victory didn't feel like victory at all.</p><p><br/></p><p>It felt like the beginning of something darker.</p><p><br/></p><p>Let me put it to you this way...</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Alright, my brothers, listen closely —</p><p>A hollow beast, a city ghostly,</p><p>a kingdom won with blood and lies,</p><p>a prince who dreams with open eyes.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Yeah.</p><p><br/></p><p>They were watching, alright.</p><p><br/></p><p>And they weren't done with me yet.</p><p><br/></p><p>---</p><p><br/></p><p>Epic the musical: The TROJAN SAGA.</p>
