Cultured in reels Dwelling in hateAbiding in slandersLoved for complacencyStrengthened in unforgivenessApplauded in gossipAddicted to aestheticsEntertained by traumaDesensitized by darknessNumbed by opinionsChained by “just vibes”And lost in filters that never tell the whole truth….thenWe scroll through pain with popcornWe normalize distance and call it peaceWe cancel people but never cancel prideWe romanticize dysfunction and call it freedomWe rebuke correction but crave attentionWe say “self-care” but mean “self-preservation at any cost”We forget community, then blame it for not showing up….more to that There’s a lot of work to do.The next generations count on us.They’re watching, not just what we say, but how we live.They’re measuring our values not by our posts, but by our practices.They’re listening to our silence, and studying our priorities.They are inheriting wounds we didn’t healAnd questions we refused to confront….cry some moreMany of the things we now call “boundaries”Are nothing but permanent unforgiving spirits in disguise.Walls built from past offenses, thick with silence, heavy with pride.We call it healing, but it’s hiding.We call it wisdom, but it’s fear.We speak of protecting our peaceBut what we’re really doing is protecting our bitterness.We ghost people to avoid growthWe block growth to avoid discomfortWe keep people in our lives just to keep the illusion of loveAnd we shut people out when they reflect what we need to become….healed or heeled ?It’s time to admit:We are being discipled by algorithmsMentored by trending audiosAnd shaped more by content than by characterWe now teach that loyalty is weaknessAnd that trust must be earned, but never offeredWe forgot that grace isn’t passive; it’s powerfulThat mercy doesn’t mean foolishnessAnd that love, real love, can still tell the truth, correct with compassionAnd say no without fear…….finished Fortunately or unfortunately, everyone is right, and no one is wrong.We’ve replaced conviction with preferenceAnd preference with opinionAnd opinion with entitlementNow “your truth” can’t be challengedEven when it contradicts love, wisdom, or realityWe are easily offended, rarely correctedQuick to speak, slow to listenAnd even slower to reflect SELAH.Let that breathe.Because this isn’t a rantIt’s a mirrorAnd we all need to stand before itNot to judge, but to yieldNot to defend, but to discernWe can’t teach what we haven’t processedWe can’t mentor what we haven’t modeledWe can’t raise whole people from half-healed woundsAnd we certainly can’t guide the next if we’re still stuck in yesterday’s betrayalsWe must do the work: heartwork, thoughtwork, spiritwork …to the rest thereof Unfollow bitternessMute prideUnsubscribe from trauma cyclesDelete the narrative that silence is powerAnd rewrite the truth that love is louder than fear …fainted Yes, there’s still hopeBecause even in the noise, some are waking upEven in the mess, God is calling leadersNot perfect ones, but surrendered onesLeaders who have scars, but still choose mercyMentors who have fallen, but still point upwardVoices who don’t echo trends, but declare truthWe are the ones we’ve been waiting forSo let’s not scroll past this moment Let’s rebuild, Let’s repent, Let’s relearn, Let’s reviveThere’s a lot of work to do But it starts with youIt starts with me, It starts now #PureBreedSbe #SirBPS: only the image is AI generated…What do these words inspire you ?
