When was the last time you were truly yourself? Not the version of you, created to fit into today's world; but your actual unfiltered self.
It is becoming increasingly difficult for us to be ourselves in today's world. We are subconsciously under the influence and pressure of society and our environment. Either the physical or the online community. We are made to act in a certain, unofficially approved way, thereby becoming people we are not. Other times, we try to change to become someone else, because we feel who we are is not good enough for today's world. This is evident in the way we interact on social media.
It is true that scrolling through social media pages, and seeing the wins and successes of others can get to us. It could make us feel like we are not good enough or lucky enough, or even hardworking enough. And a number of us then try to shape our lives according to the standards of these successful people online. We try to imitate their processes and actions, hoping that it leads to our own breakthrough. We neglect those things that make us who we truly are, in pursuit of becoming people we are not. What we forget at this point, is that every human being is unique, and our paths are different. Changing who you are, only leads to more unhappiness. You would likely not be as sufficiently equipped to adapt to the path of someone else you have chosen to follow.
Rather than trying to alter who we are, we should be precise with it. Acknowledge who you are, because you are unique. The fear of being different, is limiting to our existence. It's limiting our potentials and limiting what we can achieve. The world may just be waiting for what you have to offer, but fear, cautiousness, and the thought of 'I am not good enough' hold us back.
Revel in who you are. Do not live like you're the carbon copy of the same generic human.

I know you like my insights đ. Kindly consider leaving a tip.
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate contentâuse it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio contentâhigh-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover imagesâif your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
