OFF DAYS
<p>I need purpose for my off days.</p><p>I know some people cannot relate. I've been there too. I've said severally that remote work will be great for me as it affords time to do other things. When I worked Mondays-Fridays and sometimes Saturdays, I had these plans for what life would be like if I worked hybrid. Omo, now na just sleep person de sleep on off days. Hold up, maybe I'm just my father's son. I grew up seeing my dad work onsite, and I can't recall him saying he went on leave. Maybe I'll ask him after writing this!&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>I guess we don't need more time. We need more work abi purpose! Another issue with being home is that I will eat more. Yes, I de chop. We listen; we don't judge! The math is not mathing... Where did all my plans go to...? I blame Lagos! They say no knowledge is a waste, so I should kukuma do an online course or complete the ones you guys used peer pressure to make me enrol in!</p><p><br></p><p>My guitar is fully coated with dust and staring at me. But I play drums already na. Dear guitar, Kindly rest! I am still unsettled and yet to grasp the feeling of emptiness from just staying at home. Be like say I go learn to barb based on UK goals! Thinking of tailoring too, it doesn't SEEMSTRESSful! Sleep and rest no be side hustle and I need to buy Benz this year. Na me de motivate corp member yester on time management and making the most of their service year. Well, like the great philosopher Falz said, <em>everybody is a hypocrite</em>. If you've read this article this far, I hope you learnt something sha! Sometimes we're not ready for the things we so dearly desire. We don't really need more time (except Sunday nights, which are typically only 2 hrs). I hope you got the joke.</p><p><br></p><p>I was so bored I had to write again.</p><p>I wrote this while listening to Burna <em>Boy-Wetin man go d</em>o.</p>
