<p>Rivers flowing with blood</p>
<p>The Blood of our brothers </p>
<p>Spilled by our cousins </p>
<p>I speak of fertile lands </p>
<p>That has become battle grounds</p>
<p>I speak of my father land </p>
<p>But not my daughters land</p>
<p>Our daughters are still not back </p>
<p>And no one is searching</p>
<p>They left as children </p>
<p>Returned as mother's </p>
<p>Children bearing children </p>
<p>We failed them </p>
<p>Perhaps there's hope</p>
<p>My cousin would have been 10 today </p>
<p>If there was power in the hospital </p>
<p> He was born at night and he never saw light </p>
<p>We are hungry in the midst of plenty </p>
<p>We feed our neighbours while we starve </p>
<p>Our leaders cheat on us- "their wives" </p>
<p>As they invest in their side chick's abroad </p>
<p>Our birthright was traded for gold </p>
<p>A story untold </p>
<p>Our story is not over </p>
<p>We will rise again </p>
