<p>In case you've been living under the unknown, and you don't know who she is.</p><p>Here is the story of Malala Yousaufzai.</p><br/><p>Malala was born in a small town called Mingora and grew up in Northern Pakistan in a town called Swat. In 2009 the Taliban (a militant Islamic group) took over and band girl's education. At just 11 years old, Malala began writing anonymously as Gul Makai for the BBC , detailing her life under Taliban rule and her fight for girls education. </p><br/><p><br/></p><p>Malala grew up in a home that valued learning. Her father, despite living in a culture that often favored boys, treated her equally and encouraged her education. She attended the school her father ran - the Khushal Public School.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-233055.jpg"/></p><p>Malala believed she had the right to education, and freedom of speech as a girl.</p><p><br/></p><p> And just like that i<span style="background-color: transparent;">n 2009, nearly 400 schools (mostly girls) were destroyed by the Talibians.</span></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-234331.jpg"/><span style="background-color: transparent;"></span></p><p><br/></p><p>Malala began to question everything — why should being a girl mean silence?</p><p><br/></p><p> Surprisingly this made Malala a target, and in 2012, she was just 15 years old when the Taliban attacked her school bus and Malala was shot on her way back from school.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-235050.jpg"/></p><p>T<span style="background-color: transparent;">he attempt on Malala's life made head news around the world, and the world rallied behind her chanting " WE WANT JUSTICE".</span></p><br/><p>"They only shot my body, but they cannot kill my dream" those were some of the words of Malala.</p><p><br/></p><p>Miraculously she survived. And in 2013, just one year after the attempt on her life, she founded the Malala Fund, a global movement dedicated to empowering girls education around the world, to 12 years of free , safe, quality education.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-225932.jpg"/></p><p><br/></p><p>In 2014, Malala became the youngest noble peace prize Laurette at 17.</p><p>Instead of letting fear stop her, Malala even became louder. One of her words goes thus " this is where I will begin, but it is not where I will stop. I will continue this fight, until I see every child in school ".</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-230116.jpg"/></p><p><br/></p><p>In 2015 she Co-founded the Malala Fund, a non-profit that works in countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Syria, and Afghanistan to help girls access 12 years of quality education.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-233505.jpg"/></p><p>In 2020 she Graduated from Oxford University, studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).</p><p><br/></p><p>In 2021 she got Married to Asser Malik, a Pakistani cricket official.</p><p><br/></p><p>From a young girl in Pakistan, Malala continues to champion quality education, and a world where every girl has a right to education. </p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-233136.jpg"/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-233201.jpg"/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20251018-233243.jpg"/></p><p>Now Malala continues to speak around the world. Write books like " I am Malala", and inspire young girls around the world to stand up for their right<span style="background-color: transparent;">s, their dreams and education.</span></p><p><br/></p><p>Malala is a direct picture of resilience in chaos. Letting us know that we can achieve whatever we want to irrespective of opposing situations.</p>

Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
