INSIDE MY MIND: THE ANXIETY EDITION.

You ever want something so bad that your body just… gives up? Like, Congratulations, you’re officially too excited to function! Stomach in knots, mind racing, energy levels at -100. Sleep? Oh, that’s cute. You think sleep still exists for people like us?

It’s not even a bad thing I’m anticipating. It’s actually something good and something I should be excited about. But instead of joy, my body picked suffering. My brain is running marathons while my body is curled up in a corner, whispering, Please, let’s just rest.

And the worst part? Time refuses to move. Every second feels like an hour. Every hour feels like a year. Meanwhile, my heart is just there, pacing like a dramatic movie character waiting for a life-changing phone call.

I tell myself, Breathe. It’s fine. You’ll be fine. But will I? Will we? Or are we all just permanently stuck in this weird place between anticipation and exhaustion, between excitement and complete shutdown? I don’t have the answers. No grand solution. No magical fix. Just this: If you’ve ever felt like your brain is speedrunning life while your body waves a white flag, you’re not alone. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll figure it out as we go.
