Health and safety policies are organizational regulations drawn from HSE laws, they are clear to follow and established based on the aims and objectives, accident occurrence, disaster, community affairs etc. Below are some examples of International health and safety laws. HEALTH RELATED REGULATIONS Asbestos Regulations 2001. These regulations apply to persons who are exposed to asbestos dust at their workplace. Hazardous Biological Agent regulations 2001. These regulations apply to persons who work or are exposed at workplace where HBA is deliberately produced, processed, used, handled, stored or transported. Noise Induced Hearing Loss Regulations 2003. These regulations apply to persons who carry out work at workplace that may expose them to noise or above the noise-rating limit. GENERAL REGULATIONS Environmental Regulations for Workplaces, 1987. These regulations refers to the physical condition of the work environment. General administrative Regulations, 2003 and Facilities Regulations, 1990. These regulations refers to sanitary facilities, toilets, bathrooms drinking water, certain prohibition as well as the conditions of these facilities that forms part of the work environment.
