I had a dream

Don't worry, I'm not here to reiterate Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I had a dream speech!"

I believe that most people have dreams. In other words, people have desires they'd like to achieve. This could be to start a business, make a certain amount of money, break the world record in a particular field, buy a luxury house, write a best-selling book, or achieve other things. Have you ever wondered why people are willing to do anything to attain their dreams?

Some even partake in illegal activities for the sake of their dreams. Yeah, dreams push us beyond our limits. Dreams are dynamic and can evolve over time as the dreamer grows.

Dreaming is free, but attaining your dreams will cost you. You'll need to continually invest in yourself and your dreams. It's okay to seek help in the pursuit of your dreams. Swallow your pride and be mindful of your company.

My intention is to lay emphasis on the "validity of dreams" and the "location of the dreamer."

Let me first state that valid dreams may not be properly articulated and that could inhibit the attainment of that dream. It's like using a faint map. There's the tendency that you may get lost, meaning your voyage was in vain. The other issue is your environment. Some plants can only grow in certain areas, and there's a reason for that. The dream of a seed would be to yield fruit, but dropping the seed on the highway would be an effort in futility. Sometimes it's not your dream but your country's. I'm sure Nigerians can relate!!

I believe it'll take a miracle and serious effort to attain some dreams in some places. It's possible that your dream could be feasible in another country.

I'm sure Jakpa Fc would like that point!

For example, as a woman, you want to be a minister, but women are not allowed to participate in politics in your country. Similarly, you may want to provide sustainable education in your country, but your country is part of the axis of terror. I would suggest that rather than giving up on those dreams, you find a way to start something and, if you have enough resources, you can relocate. If this sounds abstract to you, I understand. This post is not for everyone! Have this at the back of your mind: "Sometimes our efforts towards our dreams set the pace for other people's dreams."

You may not live the dream. Your dream could be fulfilled 20 years after your passing. Martin Luther King Jr. can relate!

"Keep Dreaming-Keep Working"

Learn Unlearn Relearn
