FAKE FRIENDS?
<p><strong>Were you really the victim in that friendship… or just the one who narrated first?</strong></p><p>Sometimes you weren’t the villain…</p><p>But you definitely weren’t the saint you painted yourself to be.</p><p>You just spoke first, and the first narrator always sounds innocent.</p><p>Your version was tidy, theirs was complicated.</p><p>But life isn’t tidy, and neither are you.</p><p>Sometimes you were hurt…</p><p>and sometimes you were just loud.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>That friendship that ended, was it truly betrayal?</strong></p><p><strong>Or just miscommunication both of you were too proud to fix?</strong></p><p>Half of what we call “betrayal” is just two people refusing to say, “This thing you did hurt me.”</p><p>You didn’t communicate.</p><p>They didn’t communicate.</p><p>You both carried offence like inherited debt.</p><p>You expected them to read your mind; they expected you to already know.</p><p>So pride spoke louder than love…</p><p>and silence did the rest.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Before you attack me, breathe first.</p><p><br/></p><p>We've all heard warnings about fake friends, I'm sure.</p><p>Friends who lead you into pits</p><p>Friends who plot your downfall </p><p>Friends who watch you drown</p><p>Friends who strain your mind</p><p><br/></p><p>Some of you may have encountered such friends.</p><p>But for some of you, what if that’s not the whole story?</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What if you didn't lose a friend... what if you just lost someone who finally set boundaries?</strong></p><p>Let’s be honest, some “losses” are just consequences.</p><p>You ignored their feelings one too many times.</p><p>You dismissed their discomfort because it didn’t inconvenience you.</p><p>They held their patience like a shield. You broke it anyway </p><p>You expected access without accountability.</p><p>They chose distance. </p><p>You called it abandonment.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What if they weren’t a bad friend… what if they just stopped tolerating your nonsense?</strong></p><p>Everybody has a breaking point.</p><p>You pushed.</p><p>They swallowed.</p><p>You pushed again.</p><p>They swallowed again.</p><p>Then one day they stopped swallowing.</p><p>And suddenly, they "abandoned you"</p><p>But did you ever consider how exhausting it was to love you in that season?</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What if the friendship wasn’t toxic, what if you two were just emotionally incompatible?</strong></p><p>Not every heartbreak has a villain.</p><p>Even garlic and oranges look alike until they meet.</p><p>Some friends love deeply but communicate poorly.</p><p>Some friends care sincerely but understand differently.</p><p>Mismatch is not malice.</p><p>Not every misalignment is betrayal.</p><p>Sometimes the friendship died because it simply wasn’t meant to live.</p>
