Contract of Slavery

Many people receive their employment contract and most times don't read it or read in excitement and don't take cognizance of their inactions to vet and reach out for legal interpretation of said contract and thus they sign their slavery.

First, it's the hype of a new job, then all of a sudden 3-6 months in things start to take a dangerous turn, smiles fade and dreams come to a standstill, the dream is over and the excitement has ended, your faced with reality, no more grace not like there was any at first, the workload begins to expand beyond what you in excitement read, you never saw the clause that said: "your JD isn't limited to the follow and your employer has the right to....." Nope, you didn't, you were too excited to see it.

You ask what is this? But this isn't part of my JD you said, you're met with that sheepish smile and answer "It's in your contract", that's not true and you go back to check "Oh", as I said a contract of Slavery.

Men... are we in a whole lot of trouble in this country as desperate times make desperate businesses and people, I don't hate the player, I rather hate the system that allowed this mess to happen, now it is up to young people to have their trail and error or listen to advice, workers without rights but a basket full and overflowing of responsibility.

While I'll agree we have lazy workers, I think they are the safe ones, the hard workers who die trying, they get used till their last drop of blood, that's only if you'd let them though, but then ignorance is blissful and the power to manipulate the mind of an ignorant individual will amaze you, I say nothing to this, but no fear your passion for work is acknowledged and your ability to keep going is seen, keep the faith, don't change your ways become better in the storm.

Learn also to leave when your dreams and vision no longer align with your company, the company will always be there, but your dreams educational or career-wise might be time-sensitive and there you are losing it all, you have no time and no money to help, do not delay it, you won't be compensated for not chasing it.

So here's some advice: when you get that contract don't be in a haste to sign it, before you sign the contract of Slavery.
