Before You Lay Her Down
<p><br/></p><p>Before you lay her down, think twice,</p><p>Not just of pleasure, touch, or vice.</p><p>But of the weight your choice may bear—</p><p>A life entwined, a soul laid bare.</p><p><br/></p><p>She’s not a body, soft and still,</p><p>But heart and hope, with dreams to fill.</p><p>Her trust, a flame you hold in hand,</p><p>So treat it like a sacred land.</p><p><br/></p><p>Will you be there when shadows creep?</p><p>When memories stir instead of sleep?</p><p>If love turns cold and paths divide,</p><p>Will you stand firm or run and hide?</p><p><br/></p><p>Before you take, be sure you give—</p><p>Not only now, but as you live.</p><p>Can you hold her scars and past,</p><p>And still choose her when storms blast?</p><p><br/></p><p>Sex is more than skin and fire—</p><p>It births regret or lifts desire.</p><p>It marks a soul, it plants a seed,</p><p>It feeds the heart or grows a need.</p><p><br/></p><p>So pause a while, before the bed,</p><p>And weigh the words you’ve left unsaid.</p><p>Respect begins where lust must end—</p><p>Be not her user, be her friend.</p><p><br/></p><p>For when you lay her down tonight,</p><p>Let it be love, not stolen light.</p><p>And if you dare to cross that line—</p><p>Be man enough to make her shine.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
