<p>Don’t slow down.</p><p>Read this the way you scroll,</p><p>fast, light, distracted.</p><p>Good.</p><p>That’s how you’re used to it.</p><p>Now keep going.</p><p>Don’t pause to think.</p><p>Don’t go back.</p><p>Just move.</p><p>You see how easy this is?</p><p>No pressure.</p><p>No effort.</p><p>Just words… passing through.</p><p>This is how you learn now.</p><p>Not deeply.</p><p>Not completely.</p><p>Just enough to keep going.</p><p>Stay with me.</p><p>(Actually.....don’t “stay.”</p><p>That’s not what you do anymore.)</p><p>Just… continue.</p><p>You don’t like long things.</p><p>If this gets too heavy,</p><p>you’ll leave.</p><p>If it gets too slow,</p><p>you’ll skip.</p><p>If it asks too much,</p><p>you’ll scroll past it.</p><p>And that’s okay.</p><p>Because something else will come.</p><p>It always does.</p><p>A new post.</p><p>A new idea.</p><p>A new explanation of something</p><p>you didn’t even plan to learn.</p><p>And somehow</p><p>you’ll learn it.</p><p>Not like before.</p><p>Not in chapters.</p><p>Not in structure.</p><p>But in pieces.</p><p>Fragments.</p><p>Moments.</p><p>You’ll understand just enough</p><p>to feel like you understand.</p><p>Now pause.</p><p>(You don’t usually do this part.)</p><p>Pause.</p><p>Think about the last full book you read.</p><p>Not skimmed.</p><p>Not summarized.</p><p>Read.</p><p>…</p><p>Hard, right?</p><p>Now think about the last thing you learned</p><p>from your phone.</p><p>Easy.</p><p>Immediate.</p><p>Recent.</p><p>Exactly.</p><p>There’s a saying:</p><p>“If you want to hide something from a Nigerian man, put it inside a book.”</p><p>You laughed when you first heard it.</p><p>But look at you now</p><p>You didn’t stop learning.</p><p>You just changed where learning happens.</p><p>Books didn’t disappear.</p><p>You just stopped meeting them.</p><p>Because they require something</p><p>you don’t give easily anymore:</p><p>Time.</p><p>Stillness.</p><p>Attention.</p><p>Social media?</p><p>It doesn’t wait for that.</p><p>It adapts to you.</p><p>Your speed.</p><p>Your mood.</p><p>Your distraction.</p><p>It teaches you</p><p>while you’re not even trying to learn.</p><p>So no,</p><p>it didn’t replace books.</p><p>It replaced the way you arrive at knowledge.</p><p>And right now</p><p>You didn’t sit down to study.</p><p>You didn’t plan to learn.</p><p>But you’re still here.</p><p>Reading.</p><p>Understanding.</p><p>Exactly.</p><p>💥 </p><p>Books build depth.</p><p>But social media builds access.</p><p>And in this version of you,</p><p>access wins first.</p>
