99 Insights Later… And An Insight Ain’t One

I’ve got 99 problems…

but an Insight ain’t one.

Funny how that sounds like a punchline,

but for me, it’s been a process.

Because if you’ve been here long enough on TwoCents,

you’ll know these “Insights” were never just posts.

They were moments.

Fragments of chaos.

Observations dressed as stories.

And sometimes… subtle confessions hiding in plain sight.

From the early days of figuring out what this platform even meant to me,

to becoming that guy who could turn everyday madness into something people would pause to read...

it’s been a ride.

We’ve talked about love…

not the soft, fairy-tale version,

but the complicated Lagos-type love...

where “good morning” texts come with mixed signals,

and everybody is either healing, hiding, or hot-headed.

We’ve unpacked friendship…

the real kind,

and the performative kind.

The ones that show up when it matters,

and the ones that disappear when the vibe changes.

We’ve laughed through chaos...

because honestly, if you don’t laugh, you might just lose your mind.

From unserious characters to situations that felt scripted by Nollywood itself…

some of you didn’t just read, you related a little too loudly.

And then there were the subtle lessons…

the ones I didn’t spell out,

but you felt anyway.

Growth.

Self-awareness.

The quiet realization that not everything deserves your energy…

and not everyone deserves your access.

Somewhere between all these Insights,

I found my voice.

Not the perfect voice...

but the honest one.

The one that can be playful today,

and deeply reflective tomorrow.

The one that can call out nonsense,

but still understand the human behind it.

And maybe that’s what this 99 really means.

Not just consistency.

Not just creativity.

But evolution.

Because if you go back to Insight 1 and place it side by side with this…

you’ll see it.

The growth in thought.

The confidence in tone.

The intentionality in storytelling.

This platform gave me space...

but more importantly, it gave me people.

The readers who stayed.

The ones who engaged.

The silent ones who never commented, but never missed a post.

You made these 99 Insights matter.

So yeah…

life still has its 99 problems.

Deadlines.

People.

Pressure.

Expectations.

And the everyday madness that comes with just trying to be something in a noisy world.

But through all of that,

showing up here to write?

That’s never been one of them.

Because this…

this has been clarity.

This has been expression.

This has been mine.

And now… we’re here.

99 Insights in.

Not the end.

Not even close.

Just a checkpoint.

Because if there’s one thing this journey has taught me,

it’s that there’s always another story,

another perspective,

another truth waiting to be told.

So I won’t overthink it.

No long goodbyes.

No dramatic pause.

Just the only line that feels right.

I’m on to the next one.
