30 Minutes to 20
<p>It’s 30 minutes until I turn 20 and I don’t know how to feel. </p><p>I wouldn’t say I’ve waited long for this moment. If anything, I’ve sort of dreaded it. </p><p>The thought of getting older feels confronting. Like I’m being handed more responsibilities. </p><p><br/></p><p>19 was interesting. It came with tears, losses I didn’t plan for and opportunities I worked for. </p><p>It was filled with questions: Am I doing this right? Why is this happening? </p><p><br/></p><p>In all, it came with growth. I am definitely not the same person I was a year ago. </p><p>And maybe that’s what brings panic. The awareness that time is moving whether I feel ready or not.</p><p><br/></p><p>But do I have to be ready?
